Rhonda Fast Photography 

The Acheson's are my cousins who I never see because they are missionaries in India.  They finally made it out our way this year after 13 years, I think - I can't say when we'll make it out there way!!  I had the distinct pleasure of photographing their beautiful family.  Here are a few more that I love...

Sher asked for this last picture specifically because of the mixture of skin tones in their family.  The first time I saw it, it brought tears to my eyes.  This is family.  Something to be treasured.

This family can attest to the moment I said, "Oh.  There it is.  We might as well pack up and go home.  I've got it!"  Of course we continued on for many more shots but sometimes I just get this moment where I KNOW I've got the shot we set out to capture.  For the Acheson's, I think this was it and I knew it the minute I clicked it!

I'll be putting way more from this session up once I can narrow it down a bit.  I just wanted to share my "aha!" moment with all of you! 

You've seen Jack before on here, both here and in here!  I got to hang out with him again recently.  You'll see he's changed just a bit since the last time I photographed him!

Jack isn't shy.  He just learned how to play peek-a-boo.

And he's incredibly inquisitive.  You should have seen his face when he noticed that there was music on!

He's learning to stand while propped up against something often using his belly as support!

He appreciates the simple things in life like playing with his shoes or his sock monkey that his mama made him

And he's got the most delicious arm dimples and smushy cheeks one could hope for.

I can't wait to see him again in a few months.  Only then I'm quite certain I'll have a harder time keeping up with him!  

Meet Jonah.  Jonah's mommy and daddy absolutely adore him.  I know this for certain because at one point I had to ask his daddy to move his hands off of Jonah because they were in all of the pictures.  You could tell that no matter how many snuggles and kisses they got - they wanted more!  I love it when families are just so in love with one another that it oozes out of them.  Here are just a few from our time together.

I had the privilege of photographing this stylish little one at only 4 days old!  Mom had been given a gift certificate for a newborn session for Christmas (rhonda fast photography gifts are about the best there is!)  and so together we awaited the arrival of this precious little bundle!
